For Duct
Vermiculux Boards - Self Supporting Ducts and Shafts - Up To 2 Hours Fire Protection
Resistance to spread of fire by compartmentation of buildings is a long established international practice and appropriate methods are extensively prescribed in Australian Building Regulations.
The Fire Resistance Level of a compartment is ineffective if service penetrations through walls and floors are not made suitably resistant to the transmission of fire. Air ducts are generally the largest cross-section penetrations and there are stringent
requirements governing their design and installation to ensure proper resistance to fire spread.
